My name is Emily Roberts and I am trained
as textile designer. Having worked for a number of notable London
based design houses I decided to return to my native Cornwall and start
the very successful Duke Street Gallery in Newlyn. This housed some of
the most exciting contemporary arts and crafts in Cornwall.
In 2007 I closed The Duke St Gallery in
Newlyn, Cornwall to have my son, and Via Cornwall was created as a
result. I wanted to find a way to be able to be at home yet still have
the opportunity to work with some of the great artists and stylish
products that you can find in my on-line store. I hope I have provided a
unique, and interesting collection of beautiful merchandise sourced from
artists and companies that share my vision and passion for quality,
style and conscience.
